Vintage Wick are a growing, earth friendly, candle manufacturing biz based in Melbourne, Australia. We make scented, soy wax candles using beautiful pre-loved vessels and the finest candle materials. Our products are unique, and our business model is passionately based on sustainability & recycling. We absolutely love what we do, if you do too....then you're our people.

SOURCING OUR VESSELS

Vintage Wick embark on amazing road trips all over Victoria to source our gorgeous, unique vessels for our beautiful scented soy candles. We discover them at op shops, estate sales, markets, garage sales and even Marketplace. We have so much fun on our journey's, seeing beautiful sites and meeting amazing people. Our mantra: Re-use, Re-home, Re-love

FINEST QUALITY MATERIALS

WAX We use nothing but the best, premium, soy wax to make our candles. Golden 464 soy wax is known in the candle industry for being one of the most reliable waxes for carrying scent - both *cold and hot throw. *Cold throw is the scent of a candle cold and unlit. Hot throw is the scent when lit after about 15 minutes. WICKS The CDN range of wicks are a premium, cotton wick with a special paper filament core that increases the rigidity of the wick and enhances it's burning qualities.They are self trimming wicks, designed to bend at the tip into the flame for a cleaner burning candle. FRAGRANCE OILS The scent of a candle is so important. We pride ourselves in using the top two premium brands. Eroma and Aussie Candle Supplies. They both guarantee long lasting, true to scent, to-die-for fragrances.

RE-USE, RE-HOME, RE-LOVE

When you've finished your candles you can either contact us to refill them, or re-use your vessels for things, like :
Succulent plants, Pens, Cotton tips, Lollies, Tea lights, Snacks, Cut flowers, Make-up wipes, Hair ties, Jewellery, Paper clips, or back to it's original use!

OUR CANDLES ARE $20 EACH.

Yes . . . $20. We also offer a refilling service of $15 per vessel.

  • Vessels must be dropped off and picked up by the customer (we are located in Melbourne Sth. East suburbs). Please email to arrange
  • All returned vessels will again be put through our strict safety process
  • Please be aware as vessels are second-hand there is a slim chance they may not make it through the refill process and the vessel may be lost. Rest assured, all care will be taken to prevent this, however no compensation will be available if this unfortunately occurs
  • Payment must be made before pick up of your refilled vessel. Credit Card payments accepted
  • Customer can choose to refill with any of our three signature fragrances
  • The vessels must be originally supplied by Vintage Wick
